Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Marketing Manager who is passionate about live music and concert promotion. This full-time, salaried role is based in Houston, TX, offering the option for remote work on a daily basis.
As the Marketing Manager, you will be instrumental in the design, execution, and analysis of our marketing strategies. Your marketing expertise, coupled with your creative problem-solving skills and analytical mindset, will be crucial in enhancing audience engagement and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment and be prepared to work beyond standard business hours to support venue events.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive marketing plans for shows, including campaign development, stakeholder communication, budget oversight, and performance reporting.
- Lead traditional and digital advertising initiatives, encompassing media purchasing and digital outreach across multiple channels.
- Manage email and SMS marketing efforts, focusing on content creation, audience segmentation, and distribution.
- Coordinate promotional activities, contests, and giveaways in collaboration with local media, businesses, and grassroots organizations.
- Draft and disseminate press releases, while fostering relationships with local media entities.
- Support graphic design and creative projects for promotional purposes.
- Develop and oversee media mix strategies to optimize return on ad spend for each event.
- Maintain an accurate concert database to ensure cross-departmental coordination.
- Monitor ticket sales and analytics, adapting marketing tactics based on real-time insights.
- Formulate and implement a strategic street team initiative.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in major social media platforms and digital advertising tools.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with graphic design software such as Adobe, Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva.
- Ability to operate independently while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the music or live events sector is required.
